8 outs board problem

Hi! Im mounting my 8 outs board in mpc 2000xl, but when i try to turn on, my mpc screen starts to blink. Like it turns on and turns off every 1 second. Anybody knows the problem? sorry for my bad english

you may have connected the ribbon cable the wrong way round.
