figure it out yet? i'm having the same problem with outs 1-8 of my extension board runnin' into my g5. i use cubase sx, everything is setup like i believe its suppose to, but my mix isn't transferring into my mac.

for the mono problem...i dunno because i dont know much about computers, BUT i do know this:
there are two inputs on a PC- one for stereo and one for mono (i think). that might be the problem perhaps??

It would help if you both said what soundcard you're using, and how you routed the cables.

for now, i am using the m-audio firewire 410. when these freegin' germans release the firewire 1814, i'll be using it.
regardless, i run (as a test) a stereo sample from within the 2000xl out of jacks 1 & 2 of the 8-out board. input those cables into jacks 1 & 2 of the firewire 410. then, in cubse sx, i add a stereo audio channel to the empty project. my mix/sample/whatever is not mocked or translated. BUT, when i run the cables from the mpc's stereo main out into the firewire inputs, everything is fine!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!
