Recording One MP to Another

Ok,

so I got my EB16 and love it
I like changing samples with it
specially my drum kits

but they are more than 2 and the programs dont help me
And the sounds cant be saved with the changes.

If I sample the new sound with the effects from one MP to another (say both 2kxl's)
would the sound be technicaly the same? (not considering the factor of cables)

If you have the 8 out cards on both of them you can use a SPDIF cable, that would keep the sounds the same.

Otherwise you're doing a D/A and A/D conversion, it'll degrade the quality a little bit but not enough to matter.
