problem in sampling

hi guys.i want your help..i have a prombel in sampling with mpc 2000xl..i'm sampling from a cd player(and a mixer) and the sound isn't clear...also i have seen that other guys have this problem..i checked the cables but i didn't understand what's wrong..can you help me??tnx..here is how i connect them

What kind of adapter are you using to go from the "cd player" to the mixer? To me, it looks like you are trying to convert a stereo signal and put it into a mono mic input.

You need something like this:



which should go into the 3-4 input on your mixer.

Also, I would not expect hi-fidelity to come out of a Coby product.
