My RAM in my mpc 2000 is either going out, or is not registering, because rarely, will my RAM register when I turn on and boot-up my mpc 2000 I have two 16Mb sticks of RAM in my machine, and sometimes it does work, but sometimes it don't and I-Need-To-Sample!
I CANNOT SAMPLE BECAUSE OF THIS, what should I do, I mean what needs to be done here and what is it DOING!?
Emcee Mastamynd,
Thank you all for your time and assistance in this matter
P.S.-I have already taken it apart and made sure that the RAM was seated firmly and correctly in the mpc 2000 however I may have made a mistake , but I do not think I did as it was just saying I have 18 MB of RAM (when I have 32 MB in it which is 2X16MB sticks) before I worked on/in it but it never did make fuzz and static noises when I go to the sampling option/menu but now it does that and majority of the time it will say that there is no RAM at all (0 MB of Memory Installed
