DISK READ ERROR ZIP 100MB

Desperately trying to recover the data files off a zip disk 100mb. I have an MPC 2000xl, after loading up the disk after trying to save the last project it has come up with a ''disk read error''. I think the disk was close to full capacity & I now can't access any of the files, I have tried to access in a external zip drive but will not show up anything on my mac but will show files from other zip disks.

Contacted iomega and they want £275 to recover the files. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as would rather not spend that but I really need these files as it's almost a years worth of work.

275 pounds?! lol sheesh, they might as well give you a couple zip disk and a new external for that price. i'll keep you in mind in case i run across some software used to restore/salvage corrupt or crashed data

ive tried multiple software programs for recovery data with no luck at all.....get the multi card reader, no doubt.
