quick question reguarding the xl and my 1200...

so im gettin a 2000xl tomarrow but i gotta question reguarding the setup.

i gotta techincs 1200 and an american audio mixer, with rokits 6 monitors.

i dont have a mixing board, n really dont plan on getting one. So my question is how would i hook the turntable n the mpc up to the monitors? it would go turntable to- mixer to- mpc- n then the outs of the mpc to the rokits, correct?

i just wanna clerify.

yes....and you'll only be able to hear the turntable input when the mpc is on and in SAMPLE mode

yeah that's what I figured would happen...so I can listen to the record without recording into the mpc, it just needs to be in sample mode, n then when I find a part I wanna take I record it (sample it)??

no. when you find the part you wanna sample, you log on here and send me a PM mentioning the song and what part.

yeah man, that's the simplest way... and the way I had mine set up.
