Xl pads are great!

I recently bought an xl, and I must say I'm really really pleased with the work flow and the overall quality of the mpc itself. One thing that I love in particular are the pads! They are so soft it's incredible...the sensitivity is great and the overall feel of the pads couldn't be better.

I also own an mpk25 which has 12 "mpc style" pads. That couldn't be more wrong. I've played around with a 1000 and 5000 and now own a 2000xl...the mpk pads are FAR from mpc pads....

I think the 2000xl pads are BY FAR the best pads I've ever used!

I've had a 2kxl for a while and got a hold of an mpd16 for learning purposes and the feel isn't close.

You should feel what a good 3000 feels like...15 years of breaking them pads in..mmmmmm

ive always wated to feel the pads of a 60 or 3000, ppl tend to love them!
