sample chop assistance please

So I find a sample that is 16 beats. I auto chop and place each beat on a pad (creating a new program). SO lets say I find another sample and want to chop it into 16beats the same way I create a new program (which assigns the sounds to the pads automatically) but i want the sounds to go to bank b in the original program i did. Is this possible?

I hate to chop it, say NO to creating a new program, save each sound individually and then load them into bank b...thats what I have been doing but it is time consuming.

nope, you cant do that
although I highly recommend you chopping your own samples manually and not using that feature
I know it might seem like it saves time, and this is strictly a personal preference, but having a machine chop the samps for me isn't a technological step I'm willing to take

yea....i think everybody using zoning adjusts them a bit....and hopefully would musically zone things.

sounded alot like you were advocating using Section->New Sound to make chops.

I would recommend NOT using the 'auto create program', for the reasons you bring up in your original post.

Just chop the sample, and then manually edit the program to include the new samples (protip: they will be at the END of the samples list, so they are easy to find).
