MPC2000XL LCD SCREEN PROBLEM

WHATS UP mp heads ive been a member for a while now but this is my first question ..........ive been on the mpc for about 2 hours this morning while i was choping this beat up my screen lit up and i couldnt read it unless i was a few inches in front of it i shut it off and when i powered backup the mpc2000xl read fine but the screen was mad bright i called my friend and he said it was the contrast,does anyone know how i can change this to get it back to normal ? thankx

try holding shift and spinning the data wheel.
