Noise nonstop in my MPC2000

Hi all I have a problem as my MPC2000 I have the Volume Gain Knob Post twisted and gives me a bad connection causing clicks if you twist to one side or put a lever to support making times but when I put it on record external audio mode begin clicks without parar.Os appreciated if you help me find the solution to this problem if any of you has occurred and what type of conponent would have to change, on the web http://www.mpcstuff.com/mpc-%202000-classic-volume-gain-knob-.html found the replacement for the knob but it will be enough?
