hi just got my mpc2000xl last week,

i have to push one of the cursor buttons just a little bit harder then the others, should i worry?

lets say i load some programs in memory, can i and if i can how do i assign them to different padbanks?

thanks

guess i cant? since a program is assigned to 64 notes, but the my manual says i can play back 4 programs at a time. but it doesnt tell me how, how do i play back 4 at the same time? can i load some programs, play 4 and change to others while say one program is playing, im thinking live situation here.

thanks

with the cursor thing i would'nt worry im sure its pretty common, the right cursor on my 2000xl is a bit stiff but doesnt cause me any problems and have never had any issues with it besides a little frustration from time to time

That's a great article, but actually even a little advanced.

At the most basic, assign sounds to programs, assign programs to DRUMs, then choose which DRUM to use per track.

The PGM change thing is only if you want to switch which PGM is assigned to which DRUM.

problem fixed :D it was the metalplate inside the switch that was broken, you can replace it with a metalplate from a computer-cd-dvdreaderejectbutton.
