K so i haven't moved my 2kxl, spilt anything on it, or anything and it was working fine last night. All of the sudden out of nowhere it won't load anything...When i try to load the FC it just says "no scsi device!!!!" /:

whoa is me.

HAHAHAHAHAAHAH...wow i feel dumb. You know your post helped me tho and i figured out the problem..Somehow i reset the Device type to Scsi from Atapi without realizing i did it...im really not sure how...but yea being that i thought the scsi device just meant FLASHDRIVE (i have no idea what scsi even means) ...SO yea after reading your post i went in tot he menu just to see if i could change it and now everythings fine! I'm guessing scsi device must be a zip disk external drive then or something? I used floppies still in mine til 3 years ago and skipped over zip drive right to flash cards...

SCSI means "Small Computer System Interface". Most people say it "SKUZZY". It's been around for yonks and is basically a way of transferring data between computers and storage devices (for example).

SCSI does not refer to the actual device, just the means to connect it, as is the case with USB and Firewire.
