my xl is **** up. weird noise.

i'm like 99% sure this is a ram problem after reading some threads. basically i'm getting a weird (short but loud) clicky / crackly / mechanical noise that just shows the **** up in random samples now. it's done this really occasionally before, then would just go away, but now it's seemingly getting worse.

so do i need to replace the ram sticks? should i try re-seating them first? if i need to get new ones, can someone school me on good sticks to buy? or is it something else altogether ..

Im guessing thats the problem..

try re-seating the ram and checking for corrosion.
