Pads - Sound cutoff

whats up MPC users

so quick question. how do i get my pad with say a sampled snipet to silence once i hit another pad? i remember there was a video that explained it online and now I cant find it! help!

go to 'voice overlap' setting, hit 'open window' key - this brings up the mute assign screen , in the top box select the pad you want to use to mute, in the lower box select the pad(s) you want to be muted

How do you get to the lower box to select the pads you want to mute. Help!

I tried that. The arrows work in different areas, but not in the mute assign. I'll try again. Thanks.

Hit the pad. Or turn the data wheel.
