Samples

I'm a rookie with the mpc.(I recently sold my asr to get the mpc.)Anyways when i sample it records fine and i get it to the pads but then when i sample something else it replaces my other sample.I need alot of help and alot of serious help so..............HELP!!!![

It sounds like you're sampling correctly, but possibly assigning the newer sample to the same pad as the first sample, which will prob. override it.

I haven't done that so I'm assuming that is what is happening. So for next time, just assign it to a diff. pad.

You don't have to assign it to a pad, you can sample, then do all of the trimming, and then assign it to a pad by hitting shift + program, and then hitting the pad and then scrolling through your sounds to find the sample...

your sounds are floating around in memory. just not assigned to pads. go thru your program shiz and re-assign that shit.
