You might have more luck searching for 'os' disk or 'boot' disk and 'mpc 2000 classic'.
I'm not sure what version it's at.

As far as I know the only difference is v1.72 can load and save .wav files

I downloaded the boot disk files from one of the links above and it works just fine. I got my MPC2000 from eBay 3 weeks ago for 300 bucks and just today it started to refuse booting from the disk I received with it. But works fine now. Glad it was the disk, not the drive.
