Workflow question. From Logic to Mpc

Being less acquainted with what is involved in programming the 2000xl, I have a question regarding my workflow. Obviously us noobs LOVE the convenience of an easy Graphic User Interface and I'm wondering what is the best possible way to go about translating my beats from ultrabeat to my 2000xl to play as sequences. Am I able to manually program each samples pattern? I don't object to re-creating the beat manually with the pads, but I'm just not up to par in that area yet. Any recommendations are appreciated.

You have acquired a hardware sampler/ sequencer.

Now you must LEARN how to use it.

1. Get sounds into the MPC = Learn how to sample.

2. Used to 16 step pattern-based Ultrabeat sequencing = Learn how to sequence, realtime on the MPC.
