Going to need a lot more information before we can help.

"How to connect" is dead obvious...get a cable that fits both the MPC and the M-Audio.

The real question is what are you trying to accomplish, that will determine what connections need to be made and how you need to set up your gear afterwards.

A midi cable and an audio cable (1/4") is a good place to start.

Ok.
First off, realise you don't "save" what you do in the MPC into protools. PT is a recording software, and so you record sound with it.
At the most basic...
Your MPC audio out (stereo main outs...you can use both or just the left one) into the M-audio audio in.
Make a new track in protools, set it to receive on the same input the mpc is plugged into, record enable the track, hit record in PT, hit play on the MPC.

I don't use protools so maybe somebody who does can give you the particulars.

If you are still having trouble there are literally thousands of articles and posts in this forum on how to do this.
Good luck.
