Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

:D Hello everyone - JD here (formerly of SCSIforSamplers). I wanted to let you guys know that by popular demand, I am going to be building a batch of my internal SCSI CF Card drives. These drives install in the place of the floppy drive in the MPC2000 Classic and allow you to use CF cards up to 16GB in capacity.

These drives are not hotswappable, so keep that in mind, but if you are looking to put a CF card reader drive inside your MPC2000 Classic, this drive is the only way to go and since they can access a CF card up to 16GB in capacity, the lack of hot swapping capability is not that big a deal.

I can supply the drive and the complete installation kit and the install kit keeps the rear SCSI connector working, so you can still use any external SCSI drives you may own. If anyone has any interest in one of these drives, please PM me and I'll get back to you. Be sure to include a working email address in your PM.

I am building this one-time batch of drives and supplies will be very limited, so if you are interested, let me know and I can reserve a drive for you.

Sadly enough I think JD went out of business.
It's too bad because he was a great businessman who helped out the MPC community.
And I really wanted one of his card readers for my ASR. :(
