Slider not working

In trim when u hold shift and use the slider isnt it supossed to highlight and move the position of the start and finish? Mine isnt doing that when i hold shift and use the slider. Is ther a solution to this problem. Other than just typing in the number for strart and finish. That works but the slider seems much easier and faster.

If your slider does not work, then you could replace it. It's cheap and easy to do.

The other option is to just not use it...I think a lot of people work without the slider at all.
