MPC 2000 PAD PROBLEM

Okay so i got a slight problem with one of my MPC 2000 classic pads. its the one in the bottom left corner and whenever i assign a sound to that pad its always slow'd down and its pitched low. im pretty sure i didnt do anything to the pitch on that particular pad.. how do ifix that problem?

Make sure it's not being affected by the note variation slider.
