cant copy a sound more than once

got a problem with my MC2000 classic. whenever i copy a sound i can only do it once.. otherwise whenever i try to copy again it always says "Name already used" even when i change the name to something thats not the same.. am i doing something wrong or is my MPC just messed up. :shock:
