1gb Akai brand cf cards on ebay

has anyone used one of these with a drive from mpcstuff?

mine isnt working. ive tried formatting about ten times on macs and pcs. nothing is working and now i am sending it back to the dude. i am having a really hard time finding a compatible card for the mp. even the one i got off mpcstuff didnt work. disc write error when i try to save, but only some of the time. so freakin frusterating.

This is one of the reasons that I recommended the SCSI card reader drives that I designed and built for the MPC2000XL. With my SCSI CF-CARD drive, most any CF card will work. When you are dealing with the IDE/ATAPI card reader drives, everything has to be just perfect and finding a compatible CF card can be tough sometimes.

If you get too desperate, I still have some of the internal SCSI card reader drives that allow you to use a CF card up to 8GB in capacity. PM me if you want more information.
