Alternatives for an audio interface

i was looking for an alternative audio interface thats compatible with the 8 out expansion for my mpc 2000xl

any suggestions ..... ive heard of the digi 001 one etc.... but any alternatives for a pc ? or will a digital mixer with usb capabilites work also ? (meaning mpc to digital usb mixer)

Don't forget you have the MAIN OUTS too.

Go for a mixer or interface with at least ten inputs, digital I/O is an added bonus if you need that.

There are so many options out there, its a buyer's market.

Digi 002/003 are decent and well supported, not much point copping the 001 anymore.

What about M-Audio PROJECTMIX for a good all-in-one solution.

Thanks for the info .... but let me explain myself a bit currently i have a mpc , pc , audio interface setup..... i want to obtain the 8 out expansion then get an interface that will allow me to track all 8 outs into audacity or maybe pro tools in the future.... will a digital mixer allow this ? Meaning is it possible for me to have .... mpc +8 out going to digital mixer usb to pc is this possible
