Connect to computer (SCSI to USB)

Is it possible to connect my mpc2000xl to my lap-top the same way I do to my external zip drive. I currently have ATAPI internal 100mb and use an external iomega 250, but I bought a 50 pin to usb adapter to connect my lap-top to my SCSI port and the mpc doesn't let me choose a SCSI port.

No.
You need a USB zip drive to act as the go-between for discs from your sampler to your computer.

There a few threads on the front page right now dealing with using a scsi or atapi card reader instead of zips or floppies, check those out if you want to get some background on another option.
