MPC2000XL breaking down slowly...

Hey Folks,

I bought an MPC2000xl about a year ago and now the NV slider and the scroll wheel do not work. I was wondering whether it was worth it to try to get it repaired or to just sell it off.

had a friend who purchased a 2000xl which was damaged (screen messed up, all pad sensors dead) it took him about a week to receive it back after shipping it off to them, and they alerted him to every step of the process to repair when they were doing it. didn't run him more than 50 bucks.

Where are you located? I've done the repair, it involves some soldering but it's quite elementary. Soldering scares people from attempting this repair but it's not that bad. You have to desolder the old one out, firstly. You can get a replacement slider for under 25 bucks with shipping included from mpcstuff.com. Or i'll buy ur XL for 200 USD

**** shipping it off, get the parts from mpc stuff and replace it yourself for under a hundred bucks

Maybe I will try my hand at fixing the machine. Once time frees up I guess.
