8 outs question

i recently aquired 8 outs....so i put the 8 outs into my xl. i picked up a cheap mixer (SHS 802-d) from a buddy of mine. its one of those 8 channel mixers where its 5/6 and 7/8.
My question, if I create a 4 track beat, can i send just those lines out to the mixer add what ever effects then send it to logic via mbox2?

no, if I remember right, you have to attach your samples to the channels....I`m sure that it does not work, sending your TRACK through one of the outs ....

that is true. you will have to assign the sound to the output that you want it going out of. If you have a stereo sample you will see that it will automatically choose 2 out puts for you.
ie. 1/2 or 3/4 or 5/6

Mono samples will be individual outputs 1,2,3,4 etc

I use the 2000 classic- so i'm not exactly sure if the XL changed that feature.
