hey JD, my mpc 2000 has a blown scsi fuse, so I can only save to floppy disk (which I dont want to do, so I havent made beats in a long time). I tried soldering in a new fuse myself, and I **** it up I guess because it wont work.

my question is this- Do I need a working scsi fuse in my mpc to be able to use one of your mpc2000 CF card readers?

No, you don't! That is one of the good things about the CF-CARD SCSI card reader drive - it provides 5V power to the SCSI buss, so even MPC2000s with a blown fuse will work fine. In fact, my old MPC2000 Classic has a blown fuse and I have a CF-CARD drive installed in it. The drive works great.

is it possible to go from 1.20 os back to 1.4 os? if i undo my addonics internal drive and put back in the floppy and reload the pervious OS will that work?

Sure, you can switch back and forth between the os versions anytime. Heck, I switch between 1.14 and 1.2 all the time. Like you said, reinstall your floppy, put in a disk with the 1.14 bin file and load it up. Just remember that your Addonics card reader drive won't work after you install os 1.14.
