Is it possible to save MPC-2000XL's Zone settings?

I guess the answer is no, but I want to have confirmation...

Is it possible to save MPC-2000XL's Zone settings (start / end points) for the each samples?
Say I work on zone edit on sample A on XL, then I go to other sample B, then come back to the sample A on Trim mode, all the zone edit points are gone (goes back to default)
It would be nice if there is a way to save all the zones allocated on the samples...

make copies of the sample and truncate each copy accordingly, no?

Yes that is an alternative (since start and end points are saved), but that does not answer my question. My question is regarding the zone edit.

I see. So, MPC-2000XLdoesn't (cannot) save info on zone edit for each sample. (I can live with it, but
I am not impressed with it, as it doesn't look difficult for Akai OS developer to implement it.)

Just curious, Do newer MPCs (MPC-500, MPC-1000, MPC-2500, MPC-4000 and MPC-5000) remember zone edit parameters (or the parameter for a similar function) for each samples?

I guess the they implement the zone edit as a trim tool only and not as tool to set start/endpoints that can be triggered in PRGM mode.

Yes, I understand (since zone parameters has nothing to do with how samples is played), but it would've been more useful if those zones were able to be saved with the samples. If Roger Linn were still involved with MPC, I think he would've designed that way.
Well, I shouldn't complain about it, it is a old machine, and Akai is long gone... I still like MPC-2000XL.

chop each sample at a start and end and just play it til its where you want it, then edit.

I believe my question has been implicitly answered (I found it strange that no one wanted to say no.)

There's ways around everything. There's no exact function for it, but if you work at it, it's not that hard to overcome. I just chop first, and edit last. Seems simple to me.

I do know the way around it, it was just a question regarding zone edit function.

everytime i chop a sample i save it. when i come back it stays as is, if this answers.

Well, It doesn't answer my question. I didn't ask for a way around, as I can even chop without zone edit. (although I still use zone edit often.) Thank you for your reply.
