canceling pads

What is the easiest way to cancel a pad playing by pressing it again so it plays from the beginning without playing over the first time? Same effect if I'm pressing any other pad.

set it to mono it the pgm.

look up mute groups, just hit open window while you have mono highlighted then hit the pad you want to cancel the pad your on.

yeah but you can only assign one pad cancelling another one, isn't it?
Is it not possible to find a way to set all pads cancelling each other?

u can make one pad cancel two others, thats 1 more pad that u dont need

if u figure out how ur gonna arrange ur samples by playing around wit them on noteoff u can then assign wat cancels wat
