i found a dealer who sells hot-swappable card readers for mpc 2000xl (atapi).
there are 2 versions of readers. on one hand the cf-reader, on the other hand the multicard-reader.

i got mine yesterday, i payed 75€ included shipping from USA to germany. that's very cheap, isn't it?
included is the reader, a card with samples and all cables for connection.
