Hey all,
Here's a tricky one that's doing my head in...
I'm using a multitrack midi setup on my MPC2kxl, which worked great, until a couple of weeks ago something really weird happened - My internal MPC drum sounds started triggering from external keyboard and controllers, even tho' all the right channels are set to MIDI.
So, I'm playing a bassline on track 1, which is set to midi channel 1, and DRUM is off. I look at midi monitor and MIDI is coming in on track 1, but DRUM 1 is being triggered along with the bassline. Not only that, but I have a Kenton control freak fader box that does volume fades on, say track 3 channel 3, which also fades volume on DRUM 1 ... grrr!
Now I've triple-checked to see if DRUM 1 is set somewhere else to midi channel 1 or 3 or anything else in my sequence, and it's not, so what the &^%?
I'm getting desperate, anyone seen or heard of this before?
Thanks
