pad 13 and pad 14
are both playing at the same time when i hit either of them
why is this?

you either use the simult mode or your pad sensor is dead.

if the pad sensor is dead . is it a easy fix?

No, the sensors are all on one "sheet" that plugs into a socket.

Yup, on the plus side it's a pretty easy fix

The good thing is they respond to touch so it might be that they need a little cleaning.. I also had this problem and found some sticky residue on the pad sheet.. try opening it up and check before you decide to spend any cash
