MPC Pad problems

Hey guys, my mpc 200xl has only ONE pad working(which means only 4 including the banks)
I got it from some dudes on craigslist, they said it was working but I had no way to test it at the time, I paid $400
for this to be not working properly...ANYWAYS
I took the pad sensors off and put em back on, I think it may be something wrong with the ribbon, i see it's a little cracked

I rly don't wanna pay $70 at mpcstuff if this is something that could be solved by something simple.

So, any ideas??

If the ribbon is cracked, you need to replace it. Which means a new sensor sheet.
It's far too fragile to repair.

Dang, I was afraid of that....oh well, I guess if I ever want to master the mpc I'll need full capabilities first

At least I hope you got the Studio Plus, because $400 for an XL with pad problems and not 8 outs or efx board then you can call that a total fraud!
