okay I have a 2nd hand mpc 2000xl I went on amazon and got a 4 gig compact flash card put it in and it went from "insert mpc2000xl disk" to "flashing back between "generic ide card" and "insert mpc 2000xl disk". I tried to press shift then 8 to figure out the os. but no dice. I tried pressing all the buttons and nothing. I then tried putting the both os's from the akai website on the compact flash in the zip and unzip version and threw rex and wav files on. Im kind of clueless to this so if anyone could please give a hand it would greatly be appreciated.
