Ok i know replacing te LCD can cost anywhere from about 200-365. We all know that a used MPC 2000xl can range from about 400-700 dollars.y lcd is going bad and im torn between replacing it or gettin another mpc i dont want two mpc's. I thought about a 2500, but dont want to kick out extra $ especially since notjing is wrong with the 2000xl except for the screen
Whats up with thise guys making the $160 LCD's is that real? I didnt read the entire thread but from whay i read, either its taking them forever to produce them or they are full of manure, teasing a huge group
Of people that need LCDS.
what would you do in my situation and why?
I love my mpc

i've bought a few used XL's that were in great shape but had trashed screens. and the cheapest way i found to replace them is to just buy a MPC 2000 that has a perfect screen in it but has something messed up. I've seen 2000's go for like 300 bucks when they're working, so you can get a damaged one for $150-$200 and just swap the screen out.

yeah but you better make sure you can test the screen on the broken mpc before you buy it, dont ever assume or take a chance that the screen will be working. Especially if you buy it from ebay the seller can post a fake picture of the screen just to get you to buy the broken mpc for parts and you will not be able to get your money back because the auction will be listed in "AS IS" or "FOR PARTS" condition, good luck getting your money back then.
