I never really used the tap tempo feature. How useful is it? I really hate using the tempo click noise and hope this can help spice things up

sample a sheep....hehehe

er am sure its in the manual but am at work so dont have it in front of me...

but am sure its in the screen where you decide whether the tempo click is on only on for the count in or not on at all...you can also assign it to a different output if needed......ive found a nice tight closed hihat always works well...

I've never found the tap tempo is very accurate. You can tap in time to a record you want to sample to know the tempo, but it is better to just sample it, trim it & work the tempo out from the length of the sample.

goto OTHER mode and set Tap Averaging to 4 and it makes it super accurate.

^^^yeah, hated the click, and the tap because i never changed them.

But IF you tap it out, then when you go into timestretch, and "bpm match" you can change the original tempo to the tap tempo you found of the original song. Then enter your new tempo, and it should be more accurate-or more on beat that is.

I always try it, if i dont succeed with a good time stretch.
