I'm pretty sure it'll work on MPC2000 classic and XL (for 2000 classic, there is no internal SCSI port, so you have to get internal scsi port kit from scsi for sampler dot com.) But it is just too expensive, and it is NOT hot-swappable, it is stated on the manual. So, for 2000XL, Addonics CF reader is as good as CF PowerMonster II, and it is much cheaper (about $20.)
