Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hello everyone!

Need help with sync the FL studio sequencer to MPC 2kXL

As the FL only works as master / - i need to configure the MPC as slave.

I have done everything but still not satisfied with the result. It looks like after a 4/4 bar when it starts to loop
the tempo is out of sync. / is it possible that it just stay in sync when the FL studio sequencer has lets say 32 4/4 patrens and the same in MPC sequencer? always forward - so the timing runs out only after looping paterns? Could this be the case.

What are the best settings as FL vs MPC goes - midi clock or MTC / 30 fps, drop - non drop? /

Thank you very much guys for any help or usefull link..

try midiclock. set it to receive in the mpc and sert fl to transmit midiclock. when you hit play in fl, the mpc should start.

Thank you Tapedeck - well i try this too, but thats why i asking for tips - it was not in perfect sync!
I need a user who working this way / maybe also in another DAW set as midi master / and has no
issues with the midi sync - Anyone who knows what is the best fps setting 24 fps,25,30,30 drop fps?

when doing midi sync its always Midi Clock on the mpc for me and i dont change anything settings underneath (shift early, receive MMC). whats your connections from your MPC 2kxl to your computer/interface? you should be able to play your MPC from pressing the spacebar on your computer. it might be something you need to set in FL studio and there i cant help you. In Logic I must set in preferences which midi interface midi sync is coming from. in my case - M-audio uno. usb-midi

Well i try it yesterday again and the midiclock seems to work ok! thank you - i was reading that MTC is always better than normal midiclock sync but in this case it seems fine so i will leave it this way..

they are not 'better' or 'worse' they are different. so use midiclock in this case.
