MPC Editor on Win 7 64 bit - Anyone got this working?

Hi,

Anyone? I cant even install it. Get "invalid command-line parameters. Unable to continue" prompt.

Wouldn't mind giving this a shot.

Doesn't work on 64 bit at the moment.
We will have to pray for an upgrade

Incidently, I managed to install it but it didn't function correctly.

Can't you see that I'm talking about that button not working?

Works for me.
It should open a little dialogue box from which you can install Adobe Air (needed to run the app).

I'm on Vista at work so maybe this will work with Win 7:
right click on the MPCEditor program,
click Properties,
across the top select Compatibility and try installing it in Compatibility Mode for Win XP.

This program needs Adobe Air to work but I think you also need Flash installed before you can get the download button to work.

MPC Editor works fine on both my Windows 7 64-bit computers.

I just downloaded and installed the latest version into Windows 7 64bit, and it seems to be working fine. No need to run in XP compatibility mode.

The only thing that doesn't work is the 'instructions' link from the 'help' dropdown.

I don't see anywhere to put in a serial number though, and can;t find any purchasing links on the web site. Am I right in thinking that MPCEditor is no longer being sold, and instead we just have a stripped down 'free' version?

If so, wonder why those features were removed? If you are going to make the software free, why not leave all the existing features?

BTW, today exported some programs and sounds into MPC3000 format, which has always loaded up fine in my XL. Now getting load errors from the XL on those sounds (programs work fine). 'Unexpected end of file'.

Not sure what the problem is, but I just downloaded WAV2SND and that converted the files into MPC3000 format and the loaded up fine in the XL.

So perhaps there's an export issue with 64bit windows 7. However, this is running on a VMWare virtual machine, so maybe that could be a problem. However, never got such errors with XP in VMWare.
