can u just save and playback tracks just on the mpc only?

I'm trying to create a beat and play it back but I'm not able to pull it back up and just losing hours worth of work, I have a card inserted but its says its an adapt device not f-rom so that has me a little confused as well. All I have is really have is the mpc and just need to know if we can save and load tracks back up to play exactly as we saved them or do we have to rebuild the beat every time?

yes you can save your work and load it later.

f-rom is not the card reader. that is atapi. save to the atapi.

I saved under the atapi and pulled the file but no sounds, how should I save ?

save an APS file and choose the option to save WITH WAVES (or WITH SOUNDS).

then save an ALL file.

load up the aps...your programs and sounds will be there.
load up the all... your sequences will be there.

once you master this you can move on to the finer aspects of file-saving ninjitsu.
