Got some questions about the new MPC i'm buying

Soooo ive been making beats for 3 or 4 years with MPD's and Maschine. I thought i'd buy a 2000xl because they look so friendly. So the one i bought is on the way in the mail system. And i was just wondering what i should do with it. Its stock. Stock everything, no 8-output stuff and nothing new. How should i organize this shit? Should i install more ram? The 8 outputs? the MCD instalation? The internal effects thing?

I'm sampling off Vinyl for the most part. I get some stuff online.. whatever though. Will the floppy discs have enough space to fits samples and drums?
