midi in

im not getting any signal going to my midi in of my 2000xl

then the problem is with whatever is sending the midi, not yer mpc.

ps. how do you KNOW you are not getting midi input? did you check the midi monitor? (cant remember where exactly to hit open window - will be in the manual)

i checked the midi in monitor and it looks like no signal
