question for the forum
on my mpc2000 classic i was able to save global program settings such as having the Monitor set to "Off" when recording samples, and having the bpm set to Master. when i would boot up the machine these settings would remain set with the program i loaded.
i now have a mpc2000xl and when i save programs in the same way the settings do not remain when i load the program. the monitor will be reset to L/R and the bpm reverts to SEQ setting.
is there something different that needs to happen with the 2000xl to save these parameters?
i really like having the Monitor always set to OFF so i don't get my ears blasted with feedback.
thanks for your help
