program mode on mpc 2000

i like to go into program mode when a sequence is running to filter pads on the spot.....its going back into sequence mode i get a slight time delay before it starts playing again...do i have to live with this or not????i would appreciate any input

It does that, because it has to catch the bar count again to play the changes that you put into place. Say if you have a 8 bar seq going and you change the filter when it on the third bar , you arent going to hear the change until it loops or whenever the sound is played again.

cheerz for the input.......I only filter one hits because of the filtering only starts at the begining of each loop.........does the 2000xl have real time filtering?????????

No! You need other gear to do that.
