SPDIF to MiaMIDI

how can I use the SPDIF interface on the MPC with that on my MiaMIDI (just got it yesterday). How does this work? does it allow me to send all the separate tracks or pad assignments to make separate wav's on the PC?

or is it just for the stereo mixdown?

The SPDIF socket on the MPC is just digital audio, not any other data, & it is the same signal as the stereo output, so sounds assigned to the extra 8 outs won't be going through it.
