MPC 2000 and Logic Pro 9 - MIDI Clock

Hi Guys,

i'm completely new to the MPC 2000 (that thing is the shiaaat, im lovin it) and I wanted to aks if anyone could help me out with connecting it to Logic 9 and Midi sync it.

I already recorded some patterns of the MPC in Logic by running it through a Interface into my Whackbook. But now I want to MIDI clock it, just because stuff didn't fit in as good as I expected.
I Hooked it up by MIDI Cables, MIDI out from the Interface to MIDI in of the MPC.
But it didn't work.
Does anyone have sort of a detailed explanation how to get this running?
I'd really appreciate your help.
And sorry if the question is sort of nooby, but as I said I just started working with the MPC.

When you say 'it didn't work', can you step-by-step elaborate on exactly what you did and what did/did not happen? The more details you give us, the more details we can reply with.

Using Logic Pro With the Akai MPC

thx for the reply. I connected my laptop via an Interface's Midi out to the Midi in of the MPC. Then I activated "Send midi clock" in logic's menus, set the MPC to Midi Clock ON and something like "receive midi clock signal" (im not sure right now, cant look it up I'm at work ^^).
When I hit the play button in Logic the MPC should also start playing or am I getting something wrong?
