Can someone tell me if this is good for my mpc2000 (classic) ??
I don't think it is compatible with PCD-60B.
Check this page:
http://www.mpc2000xl.com/storage.htmPCB-60B is not listed, plus PCB-60B is multi-card reader, which MPC-2000 usually don't work with. Not all SCSI card reader would work with MPC-2000 (either classic or XL.)
I thought about installing SCSI CF reader to MPC-2000 classic for while (when I had 2000 Classic), but classic cannot handle file directory, so I didn't go into that route.
My recommendation (like I mentioned this on other threads) is installing 2.5 inch SCSI MO drive instead, and get bulk of used 120MB MO disks. Unlike SCSI CF reader, MO drive was supported by Akai Pro (the user manual even mentions SCSI MO drives), and does not clap out like Zip drives. It is hot swappable.
