Floppy brand in MPC2000XL

I've been clearing out old computer parts and found a Samsung 1.44MB Floppy Disk Drive #SFD-321B.
It's been years since I removed the floppy from my XL so does anyone know if this is the type that is in the 2000XL?

It will work in the MPC 2000XL, but it's not the original drive. The data connector on this floppy drive is on the opposite side on the back. The supplied floppy cable inside the MPC may be too short to reach it.
